Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nPosition Overview: \nThe Shipper/Receiver will provide manufacturing expertise and support including but not limited to, sorting, verifying, recording, and routing incoming and outgoing shipments.\n\n \nIn this function you will: \n\u2022 Exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. You will ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton\u2019s quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process and perform quality checks as instructed \n\u2022 Operate and read hand-held RF units to find, move and allocate material \n\u2022 Use a resource management system (SAP) to process all incoming and outgoing freight \n\u2022 Prepare items for shipment by assembling containers, posting weights and affixing proper postage and paperwork \n\u2022 Interface with shipping office, customer service, drivers and carriers to ensure proper delivery \n\u2022 Coordinate required emergency shipments and requests during non-work hours \n\u2022 Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions \n\u2022 Drive and maintain forklifts through daily inspection checklists and perform 5S+ housekeeping duties as necessary\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 Minimum two years\u2019 experience in a logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing, and receiving processes \n\u2022 High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution \n\u2022 Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future \n\u2022 No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Good communication and interpersonal skills \n\u2022 Experience using SAP, warehouse management system \n\u2022 Basic understanding of Microsoft applications\n\n## Position Criteria:\n\n\u2022 Ability to use good judgment when handling material with a safety focus \n\u2022 Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed \n\u2022 Ability to lift 50 lbs. \n\u2022 Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
