Shipping & Receiving Associate

Mitchell Stores is a family-owned luxury retailer known for top class customer service. Become an integral part of the Mitchells Stores business as a full time Shipping & Receiving associate at our Westport Location.

Work schedule is Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with alternating Saturdays required.

In this position, you will be responsible for the following:

• Must be able to Lift 30+ lbs daily


• Prepares/completes orders & shipments, packing boxes, tagging & preparing new merchandise.


• Facilitates deliveries from the loading dock.


• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping work stations, shelving, and loading/unloading areas organized and tidy.


• Keeps calm and organized in a fast paced, high volume environment.


• Attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with buyers, vendors and sales associates.


• Must be able to quickly pivot with changing deadlines.


• Makes occasional deliveries

• 8 hour shift

• Monday to Friday with alternating Saturdays required

Experience and qualifications

• 2 years Shipping and Receiving experience required


• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Valid CT Drivers License
