Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Tasks :

Ø  Conduct a brief inspection of the forklift and fill the fuel tank, if necessary.

Ø  Retrieve the order slips from the logistics supervisor.

Ø  Review the orders to be prepared and their priorities according to the logistics supervisor's schedule.

Ø  Ensure that each pallet contains the correct quantity and type of carpet.

Ø  Secure each pallet with plastic wrap or metal straps.

Ø  Label each pallet with the appropriate tag.

Ø  Place the orders in the designated location (inside or outside the warehouse) according to the unloading sequence.

Ø  Maintain the cleanliness of the work area (both inside and outside).

Ø  Load and unload trucks as needed.

Ø  Track materials for resale products (split drive, nails, etc.).

Ø  Pick up pallet scraps as soon as they appear in the work areas.

Ø  Conduct an inventory of the carpets in building D, as needed.

Ø  Ensure that any anomalies or delays are reported to the supervisor and/or logistics supervisor.

Perform any other tasks requested by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Ø 
High School Dipploma

Ø  Possess good manual skills.

Ø  Demonstrate autonomy and resourcefulness.

Ø  Have a good team spirit.

Ø  Maintain a positive attitude and show motivation.

Ø  Have a strong sense of responsibility.

Ø  Show initiative.

Ø  Have good judgment

Ø Possess computer skills - Excel (Basic/Beginner)

Ø Experience with an ERP system (data entry).
