JOB DESCRIPTION
The Shipping Clerk position is responsible for creating and inputting request for patient supplies to vendors for the drop ship program.

Operating equipment would include a manual pallet jack. Our warehouse clerks will pull packages from shelves and stock the shelves with frequent deliveries. Most packages average 20lbs-50lbs.

**Typing and PC skills are a must.**

The Shipping Clerk:
•Reviews orders as to patient, number of cans, and special requests
•Selects proper size box and packs order securely
•Seals box neatly and securely
•Enters shipping destination into carriers program and affixes shipping label to shipping container
•Loads the UPS trailer
•Maintains an adequate supply of shipping containers and supplies
•Unloads incoming trucks
•Knowledgeable of manual pallet jack and walk-behind forklift
•Receives all shipments
•Documents packing slip or invoice
•Counts pieces being received
•Stocks shelves and rotates inventory
•Maintains warehouse and shipping area

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Basic typing skills a must
•Must be 18 years of age or older
