Shipping Clerk

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk to handle the shipping, picking, and packing of products. This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and handling heavy items (push/pull up to 100 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 175lbs). The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, and thrives on teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack product orders accurately and efficiently.


• Palletize, wrap and strap large orders


• Use electronic shipping software (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, USPS).


• Use of ERP system


• Manage inventory, including rotating stock and storing finished goods.


• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material movement and putting product away.


• Maintain shipping records and participate in annual inventory counts.


• Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, delivery drivers, and customers.


• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in packing and shipping.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work on your feet the whole day.


• Forklift experience (preferred but not required).


• Clear communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.


• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.


• Team-oriented and dependable.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 75 lbs. (push/pull up to 100 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 175lbs)


• Comfortable standing, bending, and moving in a warehouse environment for extended periods.
