Shipping Coordinator

We are looking for a dependable and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in making sure our packed fruit is accurately prepared, documented, loaded, and shipped to our customers on time.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate effectively with production, warehouse, logistics, drivers, and other team members.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate daily outbound shipments of packed fruit


• Schedule shipments based on customer orders and product availability


• Verify orders, quantities, product type, packaging, and labeling before shipment


• Coordinate with forklift operators and warehouse staff to ensure trucks are loaded accurately and efficiently


• Work with the Production Team to confirm product availability


• Ensure the correct product is pulled from cold storage


• Prepare shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), confirmations, and CHEP transfers


• Enter shipment information into the ERP system


• Communicate with drivers, logistics teams, and marketers regarding shipments


• Help ensure outgoing orders are dispatched on time


• Maintain food safety, handling, documentation, and traceability requirements


• Help keep the cooler clean and organized


• Downstack and restack pallets as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Shipping, logistics, warehouse, or similar experience preferred


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Good communication and coordination skills


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to lift approximately 20 pounds when restacking or downstacking product


• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods


• Willingness to work extended hours during peak season

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in produce, agriculture, or blueberry operations


• Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems


• Knowledge of shipping documentation and processes


• Forklift experience


• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Work Environment

This position works in a packing house and cold-storage environment and requires regular activity around warehouse and loading areas. Candidates should be comfortable working in cooler temperatures and being on their feet throughout the workday.

Compensation

$16.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
