Position Title: 

Shipping Forklift Operator – 3^rd Shift

Pay Rate: 

$21.85/hr. +

Sign-on Bonus:        

$500 after 30 days, 

$500 after 6 months, 

Retention Bonus:    

$500 after 1 year

Additional lump sum after 2 years

Category/Shift: 

Hourly Full-Time 

3^rd Shift 11pm – 7am

*Shift may vary depending on production needs

*Weekend work may be required as needed

The Job You Will Perform: 

• Forklift Operator is responsible for the following duties, as outlined by his/her supervisor
• Complete the forklift checklist and communicate with maintenance on any issues
• Obtain tallies from Coordinator to be loaded
• Check trailer appearance for cleanliness, damage, safety
• Check unit appearance – proper dunnage, bands, load tags, special instructions
• Scan unit from discharge line
• Locate and scan to proper area – trailer or location
• Load trailer – scan unit, scan door
• Check computer for last unit
• Communicate shortage, overrun partials, damage to Coordinator 
• Completion of trailer – Check cube, put on load bar, notify Coordinator
• Operator must wear all required personal protective equipment
• Operator must keep work areas clean and free of debris, including keeping floor clean of sheets
• Operator must be able to safely lift/move up to 75lbs during regular work shift
• Operator must follow lock-out / tag-out procedures

• Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
• Forklift experience
