Shipping Lead 

 The Shipping Lead plays a critical role in keeping daily shipping operations running smoothly. This position oversees daily shipping activities, ensures orders and prescriptions are packaged and shipped accurately, and provides strong leadership, accountability, and hands-on support to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workflow & Daily Operations: Send out daily workflow assignments each morning, prepare workflows in advance for coverage, and dynamically adjust assignments as staffing, volume, or operational needs change.
• Order Accuracy & Shipping Support: Ensure prescriptions are shipped accurately according to procedure and in proper date order, prioritizing older orders. Jump in to assist with shipping as needed, provide immediate hands-on feedback when errors occur, and coach team members to improve performance.
• Attendance & Leadership: Lead by example with reliable attendance and promptness; utilize early arrival to review workflow and make adjustments before the shift begins. Serve as a positive role model by maintaining a professional attitude and avoiding negativity or workplace drama.
• Inventory Management: Monitor shelf inventory throughout the shift and promptly communicate inventory concerns to prevent delays.
• Training & Team Support: Reinforce SOPs and best practices daily, provide on-the-floor training as needed, and support cross-training efforts across the team.
• Team Engagement & Communication: Review daily Microsoft Teams messages upon returning to work to stay informed. Build positive relationships with shippers to foster open communication and a safe environment for questions.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership or supervisor experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or pharmacy setting
• Strong organizational, coaching, and time-management skills
• Ability to foster a collaborative, positive, and accountable team culture
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality control and order accuracy

Compensation & Benefits:

• Schedule:

Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Tuesday & Wednesday: Off

Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM 

Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM 

• Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 / hour

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
• Previous leadership experience required
• High school level or equivalent math, reading, and English communication skills
• Ability to review and act on team communications and workflows efficiently
