Shipping Supervisor

Lead Our Shipping & Logistics Operations

We are seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead the daily shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory activities at our Milwaukee manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, on-time customer deliveries, and compliance with customer and quality requirements. The ideal candidate is an organized and proactive leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.

What You Will Do 

• Manage daily outbound shipments and customer deliveries 


• Coordinate inbound receipts of materials and supplies 


• Schedule and manage LTL, FTL, parcel, and expedited freight 


• Communicate directly with carriers regarding pickups and deliveries 


• Process shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions in IQMS 


• Ensure compliance with customer shipping requirements 


• Investigate shipping discrepancies and inventory issues 


• Train and provide direction to shipping personnel 


• Drive continuous improvement in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations  

What We Are Looking For 

• High school diploma or GED 


• 5+ years of shipping/logistics experience in manufacturing 


• Prior supervisory or lead experience 


• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills 


• Experience with ERP systems; IQMS preferred 


• Microsoft Office proficiency 


• Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification 


• Knowledge of inventory control and shipping documentation 


• ERP/IQMS experience preferred 


• Forklift experience or willingness to become certified

Physical Requirements 

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the facility. 


• Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. 


• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment and conduct inspections as required. 

 Work Environment 

• This position is primarily based in a manufacturing and warehouse environment and requires regular plant floor presence.
