Shop Helper

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Deburrs or polishes parts. Scrapes or rubs parts with file, wire brush, or buffing cloth.


• Part buffing or grinding


• Processes parts through the tumbler


• Cleans parts


• Assembles boxes and packages product according to shipping procedures and customer requirements.


• Assists in Shipping & receiving as needed


• Safely and efficiently load and unload items using company vehicle.


• 
  

  Safely delivers and pick-up of product to and from suppliers and customers using a non-DOT Box Truck

  
  


• Maintains cleanliness of company vehicle and Shipping & receiving areas


• Must maintain an excellent driving record.


• Adheres to business unit driving safety policy and procedure.


• Accurately completes all required paperwork.


• Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements.


• Provide good feedback and promote good communication.


• Promote and live company culture.


• Assists with other shop duties and shipping when necessary.

Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Requires great attention to detail and the ability to read paperwork and specifications.


• Must have an excellent driving record.


• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.


• Dependability Follows written and verbal instructions, responds to management direction.


• Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
