SUMMARY

This position consists of maintaining the shop and yard, building and repairing field equipment, loading trucks and maintaining a well-stocked warehouse.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and maintain shop and yard on a daily basis.
• Maintain Inventory and stock of filters and parts.
• Service and Wash Generators as needed.
• Maintain oil tanks (fresh and waste) along with updating log.
• Maintain storm drain, rain gutters and overall cleanliness of yard.
• Assist mechanics and field technicians as needed.
• Able to use all power and hand tools safely.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules and use of equipment – hard hats, etc.
• Adhere to Power Plus safety and quality standards when setting and/or picking up equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.

COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanically inclined with ability to build and repair electrical equipment.
• Able to use all power and hand tools safely.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• An ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong team player.
• Forklift certification a plus (written & driving test).

Hourly Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.50
