Shot Peen Supervisor (Working)

 Onsite: Paramount, CA 

FLSA Status: ​Non-Exempt​ 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

• Lead and perform manual and semi-automated shot peen operations 

• Interpret and apply customer and industry specifications (AMS, BAC, PWA, GE, etc.) 

• Perform and approve Almen intensity testing and coverage inspection 

• Develop, document, and enforce shot peen technique sheets 

• Train and certify operators on equipment, techniques, and requirements 

• Design and fabricate masking aids and fixtures 

• Interpret engineering drawings and CATIA models to determine processing approach 

• Lead maintenance planning and troubleshooting of shot peen equipment 

• Ensure compliance with NADCAP and AS9100 requirements 

• Monitor production flow, prioritize work, and support throughput goals 

• Stop work and escalate issues when quality or specification requirements are not met 

•  Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS 

Education – High school diploma or equivalent 

Experience – Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aerospace 

Minimum 5 years' experience Nadcap & AS9100 

Minimum 3-5 years' supervisory experience 

Preferred 3-5 years' experience blueprint /CATIA
