Shower Aide (CNA Required) – Full-Time (Monday–Friday)

Pay Range: $18–$19/hour BOE

General Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents, with a focus on assisting residents with showers and personal hygiene needs in accordance with each resident’s care plan, facility policies, and state regulations.

Essential Duties

• Assist residents with showers, bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Ensure resident comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Assist with transporting residents to and from shower areas
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized shower and bathing areas
• Document care provided in accordance with facility policies
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in California (required)
• Previous skilled nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers
• Ability to lift/move residents with proper equipment and assistance

Work Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday
