Position Overview:

The Shower Door Specialist will complete quotes, streamlining all communication from start to finish and ensuring every shower door installation is done right. You’ll play a critical role in our process, identifying customer needs, negotiating and making adjustments and ensuring each installation meets our exacting standards. Our Shower Door Specialist consistently and accurately gathers information needed from the field with the utmost degree of professionalism in a safe, efficient and professional manner, setting up the installation technicians for success on their first visit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Respond to all inbound requests with urgency and attention to detail
• Place orders and follow up on quotes in a timely manner
• Own communication between vendor, shop, installers, and customers
• Demonstrate a high degree of skill in communicating and selling glass products
• Demonstrate expertise in ordering, quoting, and estimating the cost of residential glass
• Utilize templates and vendor software to design custom shower enclosures
• Coordinate with vendors to procure materials and issue purchase orders
• Ask customers clarifying questions to identify solutions with order inquiries, adjustments, and installation support
• Guide customers through service options by providing professional, detailed recommendations on styles, materials and installation options
• Coordinate with installation teams and sales staff to ensure smooth service delivery
• Provide written communication for installers to follow on each installation
• Identify and communicate any necessary changes to project specs, ensuring everything stays on track
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
• Stay informed about the latest product offerings, warranties, and industry trends

Required Attributes:

• Knowledgeable in residential, vinyl windows, showers, and first floor commercial glass to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Follows company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protection equipment
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well with technology such as office phones and computers
• Ability to understand margin

Education & Experience:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Prior glass experience strongly preferred. Previous sales experience a plus. All new hires will be trained.
