Showroom Transfer Driver

 JOB PURPOSE: 

The Showroom Transfer Driver position plays a vital role in supporting store operations by safely and efficiently transporting furniture and merchandise from the warehouse to local showroom locations. This position is responsible for ensuring products are delivered on time, handled with care to prevent damage, and accurately accounted for during loading and unloading. The driver helps maintain inventory flow between locations, supports showroom readiness, and contributes to a positive customer experience by ensuring products are available for display and sale. Adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and delivery schedules is essential to the success of this role.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Prepare and stage merchandise for showroom deliveries in a safe and timely manner.  General delivery truck maintenance and upkeep.  Perform related duties as assigned by management.

Must have a clean Driving Record (MVR for the past 5 years) 

Flexible Schedule (must be able to work weekends and holidays) 

Must be 21 years of age or older

• Communication skills:  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret our company’s documents; ability to build strong relationships with your peers, management team, customers, and other departments within our organization. 
• Computer skills: Ability to work with our G.E.R.S. program and be comfortable with spreadsheets and database software applications.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develop alternative solutions; work well in group problem solving situations
• Safety and Security skills:  Ability to observe safety and security procedures; report potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to multitask and attention to detail is crucial

• Delivery and Assembly experience in Furniture.
