Keep Our Mountain Moving (About the Job)

As a Rental Technician, you're the first stop in every guest's mountain adventure - making sure each skier and rider is properly equipped for a safe, comfortable, and fun day on the slopes. From fitting boots and adjusting bindings to maintaining gear, you'll play a key role in delivering the Tenney experience with safety, efficiency, and a smile. This hands-on role combines customer service, technical skill, and a love for mountain culture.

Your Day on the Mountain (Key Responsibilities)

• Greet guests and assist them with selecting, fitting, and adjusting ski equipment to ensure proper comfort and safety


• Adjust bindings according to customer profiles and industry safety standards


• Track, organize, and maintain accurate inventory of rental equipment and transactions


• Provide friendly guidance on equipment use, returns, and mountain readiness


• Work closely with fellow technicians and other departments to keep the rental process smooth and efficient


• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming rental area

Your Ticket to Ride (Position Requirements)

• Passion for skiing or snowboarding and enthusiasm for helping others enjoy the mountain


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Attention to detail and ability to perform equipment fittings accurately


• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with guests of all ages and experience levels


• Availability for weekends, holidays, and peak winter periods


• Previous rental experience preferred, but training provided for the right candidate
