Skilled Home Care Nurse

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and experienced Skilled Home Care Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes in Auburn Hills, MI. This role involves delivering personalized healthcare services, coordinating with medical professionals, and supporting patients to maintain their health and independence in a comfortable and familiar environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, and monitoring of chronic conditions.


• Assess patients’ health status and develop individualized care plans.


• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and family members to coordinate care.


• Document patient progress and update medical records accurately and timely.


• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care.


• Adhere to all safety, health, and regulatory policies in home care settings.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.


• Previous home care or clinical nursing experience preferred.


• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Auburn Hills, MI area.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
