Schedule: Varies as needed

Pay range: $26.32 an hour, once deemed qualified as a Cheese Room Operator, the hourly pay rate will increase to $27.07/hour.

The job responsibilities for this position are as follows:

Blender Deck Operator:  This job includes the cooling of cottage cheese curd and blending it with CO2, cheese dressing, fruit, and flavors according to plant SOPs and formulation.  Candidates will be required to understand the following operational needs.  They must have the ability to perform the tear down, set up, hand wash, CIP, and sanitize of all equipment and circuits associated with the blending operation. General knowledge of the cheese room and work in conjunction with the Cheese Room Operators and Filler Operators to ensure an efficient operation. Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements. Keep all work areas neat and clean at all time, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements.  Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way.  Must stay until job is completed or relieved.  Must perform any other assignments given by Foreman or Supervisor in charge.  This description is not all inclusive and is subject to change.
