Job Description:

SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical slot machines under the direction of the Lead Slot Technician.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Perform excellent customer service at all time.

Already posses the proficient use and knowledge of all slot and peripheral equipment attached to the slot gaming floor

Perform maintenance and repair functions to electrical/electronics faults on slot equipment up to the printed circuit board level. Can demonstrate skills in diagnosing and repairing printed circuit board.

Research and diagnose slot equipment malfunctions

Perform immediate, periodic and overhaul maintenance on gaming machines, equipment, hardware and all peripheral attachments

Knows and demonstrates a through working knowledge of all conversion processes, testing, key chipping, RAM clearing, software and hardware setups

Understand and carry out detailed instructions.

Capable to stoop over, kneel and crouch while repairing slot machines.

Can push, pull and maneuver slot machine for the purpose of installation, repair or and maintenance.

Has the ability to maneuver up to 80 pounds independently.

Instruct Slot Technician I and Trainee on the technical aspects of slot machine repair.

Assist floor personnel upon demand from time to time for guest service and disputes.

Any reasonable request made by management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required or Electronics experience and/or degree preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to Customers and other Team Members of the company.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
