Slots Dual Rate Supervisor - Full Time (Horseshoe Hammond)

When performing as a slot employee deliver service to the slot players.  Maintain excellent guest service and role model behaviors on a daily basis.  When performing as a supervisor, monitor the slot team in assigned areas to ensure appropriate customer service is provided to the guests.  Observe employee behavior and engage employees, utilize recognition to motivate and inspire the team and corrective measures when appropriate.  Be a liaison between the frontline team and leadership, be a change champion.  Ensure the team is in compliance with Indiana Gaming Regulations.

Slot Attendant/Slot Ambassador

•  Build guest relationships, learn guest names and preferences.
• Be able to fix minor slot machine breakdowns, fill tickets, recall game play and explain pay tables to players.
• Maintain fast paced service, move from one area to another on the gaming floor quickly and efficiently while providing differentiated service to our players.
• Take ownership of slot area, straighten chairs, pick up glasses and empty ashtrays.
• Understand payouts, follow all payout procedures, maintain a slot wallet and make change for players.
• Handle customer disputes quickly and effectively.  If unable to resolve the dispute quickly, call the casino operations supervisor. 
• Promote outstanding guest relations, Service Recover guests appropriately.
• Enforce company policies and procedures. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

 DR Slot Supervisor

•  Review roadmaps and staffing levels to determine appropriate work assignments for the team. Make labor adjustments to provide optimal guest service. Use SSDS response times to make sound decisions to offer overtime, send home early or adjust employee schedules.
• Monitor the slot floor, ensure the area is maintained and in good working order. Communicate any issues with slot performance or casino ops manager.
• Own department initiatives; follow through on EOS, SFS and department plans.
• Train new slot employees and update all employees on new procedures or policies.
• Inspire and motivate the team. Coach and counsel all employees when needed to reinforce department and company policy and procedures.
• Investigate and help resolve guest complaints or concerns in accordance with standard procedures. Make decisions on service recoveries or guest appeasements.
• Know and understand all slot procedures regarding: ticket replacements, jackpots, beef slips, customer disputes, gaming regulations, MTL/SARC requirements, etc.
• Build guest relationships, utilize Service Recoveries, make decisions while considering what is in the best interest of the guest and company.
• Must be flexible with schedule, days off and start times.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Proficient in English verbal and written
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work with confidential data required.
• Equivalent to high school diploma required
• 2-3 years supervisory experience is preferred
• Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission
• Access to the vessel is required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 35 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach repetitively
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or maintain a brisk walking motion for an 8-10 hour shift.
• Ability to work in a crowded, smoking, and loud environment
