Village Green Landscapes is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Snow Shoveler Site Lead to oversee winter snow removal and de-icing operations at assigned properties.
Pay Range: $26.00-$28.00 per hour DOE. Seasonal position -Benefits: Paid Sick Time Off Position Overview
The Site Lead serves as the onsite leader for a snow removal crew and is the primary point of contact for customers during winter operations. This position combines hands-on snow removal with crew leadership, customer service, equipment operation, safety oversight, and job coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a snow shoveler crew at assigned sites.
- Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure the crew understands job expectations.
- Operate and maintain snow removal and de-icing equipment safely and effectively.
- Demonstrate proficient operation of a sidewalk tractor.
- Train, coach, and mentor crew members to promote safe and productive work.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise snow and ice removal activities at assigned locations.
- Monitor job progress and ensure work is completed within required timelines and quality standards.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with customers and company leadership.
- Serve as the primary onsite customer contact during winter operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow through on customer needs or concerns.
- Ensure all company safety procedures are followed.
- Properly document and report accidents, incidents, and workers' compensation claims.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance according to company policies.
- Accurately complete required job records and documentation.
- Use company technology and operating systems to track, document, and report work.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and company values.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of one winter season of experience with snow removal.
- Proficient operation of a sidewalk tractor.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
