Job Description - Social Enterprise and Program Delivery-Evergreen

Social Enterprise and Program Delivery-Evergreen

In-Person

All CEO Sites

We are building our future talent pipeline across all CEO Sites. While this is not an active role, submitting your application will allow us to keep your information on file. When an opportunity opens that perfectly matches your qualifications and preferred location, we will contact you to explore your interest.

Our Opportunities

CEO is proud to offer a range of direct service roles that are essential to helping individuals coming out of incarceration rebuild their skills, confidence, and stability. These include Job Developers, Job Coaches, Life Skills Instructors, Outreach Specialists, Site Supervisors and similar positions that work directly with participants, employers, and community partners to create pathways to meaningful employment for those we serve.

In these roles, you’ll connect participant interests, experiences, and ambitions to real-world opportunities, guiding individuals toward long-term workforce success. The impact is tangible: every placement strengthens families, reduces recidivism, and builds more resilient communities.

Who We Are

The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) provides employment services to people recently released from incarceration. Across the United States, 8,000-9,000 people participate in CEO each year, transitioning to employment that supports themselves, their families, and their communities.

What began as a demonstration project of the Vera Institute of Justice in the 1970s to address employment barriers facing the formerly incarcerated following release in New York City has grown into the leading reentry employment organization in the country, where over 30,000 formerly incarcerated individuals have secured full-time employment since 1996.

Who You Are

Social Justice Advocate: You are deeply dedicated to equity and likely already have a footprint in re-entry, workforce development, or human services.

Empathetic Guide: You are passionate about personal transformation and know how to help others reach their career goals by balancing firm accountability with genuine empathy.

Relationship Builder: You enjoy cultivating lasting relationships and working as part of a connected team to achieve shared success.

Adaptive Communicator: You possess excellent interpersonal and written skills, with the ability to pivot your style to connect with diverse personalities and backgrounds.

Diligent Documenter: You recognize that case notes are more than just paperwork—they are a tool for advocacy. You see the value in capturing accurate, "live" data to track progress, ensure continuity of care, and prove the impact of our work.

Resilient Problem Solver: You are relentless in the face of obstacles. You anticipate challenges before they arise and keep your focus on the end goal, no matter how complex the path.

Compensation and Benefits

CEO's compensation philosophy considers a variety of factors including experience, internal equity, and the labor market associated with the city in which the position is located. The labor markets associated with the cities in which CEO is based are variable, and the salary range included here reflects this. Our salary offer will fall within this range and will be reflective of the labor market of the city in which the position is based, as well the other factors named above.

We recognize that salary is a part of the overall compensation package and also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, as well as professional development opportunities to our staff.

We also offer paid parental leave, participation in a retirement plan, sick and vacation leave, paid holidays and more. We are a workplace that promotes continual learning and teamwork, offering lunch and learns, team outings, holiday gatherings and more for our staff.
