Job Summary
We are seeking a Social Media Content Coordinator to support the day-to-day management of multiple social media accounts. This role focuses on content creation, scheduling, engagement monitoring, and basic digital marketing support. The position is based in-office in Midtown Manhattan and is suited for candidates interested in building experience in social media, content development, and digital marketing operations.
Social Media Content Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
Create, schedule, and publish daily social media content across multiple platforms
Monitor social media channels and respond to messages, comments, and inquiries as appropriate
Assist with content optimization using tags, keywords, and basic SEO practices
Manage content scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer or similar platforms)
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines
Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
Support the development of blog posts, captions, and basic marketing copy
Design simple graphics and visual content using tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
Assist with paid content efforts, including pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns
Track and report on engagement metrics as needed
Perform general administrative tasks to support the marketing team
Social Media Content Coordinator Preferred Qualification:
Relevant field of study in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Basic understanding of content creation, branding, and digital marketing concepts
Experience with design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Familiarity with WooCommerce is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to proofread and edit content effectively
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in an office environment
