Social Worker LCSW - Partial Hospital

Social Worker LCSW - Partial Hospital at Providence Mission-Laguna Beach Hospital in Laguna Beach, CA. This position is Fulltime and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Utilizes knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and community resources in planning for the treatment of patients in various Behavioral Health Services programs.  Organizes and leads groups and individual therapy sessions to meet the treatment needs of Behavioral Health Services/Mental Health and Wellness Clinical Institute patients.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field or
  
  
  
  • Ph.D. in Psychology or PsyD.
  
  


• Upon hire: California Clinical Social Worker License.


• Within 90 days of hire: Crisis prevention/management certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years' experience on an acute psychiatric service in a hospital setting.


• 2 years in a position that required participation on an Interdisciplinary Treatment Team.
