Software Quality Engineering

Sonsoft , Inc. is a USA based corporation duly organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Georgia. Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.

Create, execute, and maintain test cases and scripts.
Create defect reports and follow through to resolution.
Timely identification of severity of system issues and effectively communicates adequate priority level and impact to appropriate parties.
Status reporting
Ensure software and hardware solutions meet customer requirements for usability and functionality.
Ability to run Automated tests
Manage QE tasks from QE handoff through testing and deployment to production.
Define and implement test metrics to determine coverage and effectiveness.
Diagnose and document advanced application issues received from customer.
Apply industry best practices of standard testing methodologies and shares them with the team.
Travel may be required to provide professional services and support customer activities.

Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass the highest level security clearance

5+ years of relevant work experience in software Quality Engineering.

Experience with JIRA and HP QC is a must

Understanding Client/Server Application as well as Web Application testing.

Ability to design, create and maintain automated testing suites.

Understanding development environment and lifecycle.

Ability to learn and understand complex design systems.

Strong logic and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of Retail domain is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and organization skills.

Demonstrated testing skills utilizing a wide range of tools, techniques, and standards.

Knowledge of operating systems, system architecture, databases, and file systems.

Ability to set goals, and achieve scheduled deadlines.

Ability to troubleshoot and isolate issues.
