Sonography Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonography Supervisor to join our healthcare team. As a leader in our radiology department, you will oversee sonography operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, and supporting a collaborative and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily activities of the sonography department, including breast ultrasound services.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including ACR inspections and accreditations.
• Mentor and support a team of sonographers to maintain best practices and promote professional growth.
• Collaborate with management on departmental projects, quality improvement initiatives, and budget planning.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and safety for patients.

Must-Haves:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program; a Bachelors degree is preferred.
• Active certification in Sonography (ARDMS).
• A minimum of five years of progressive experience in sonography, with expertise in breast ultrasound.
• Proven experience in sonography inspection and accreditation processes, particularly with ACR.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous experience in a unionized environment.
• Skills in project and/or budget planning.
• Experience as a lead sonographer.
