Sous Chef - Former H2B

Rubik is looking for a Sous Chef!

Responsibilities
This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Prepare, assemble, and present menu items according to company recipes and specifications.
  


• Ensure the quality of prepared and cooked food by inspecting and testing products before service.


• Perform a variety of cooking techniques, including slicing, grinding, frying, baking, and other food preparation methods.


• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control.


• Identify and properly dispose of spoiled, expired, or substandard food products.


• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.


• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with company and health regulations.


• Promote and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety, including food safety, customer safety, and team member safety.


• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and efficient service.


• Support daily kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven Sous Chef experience


• Bilingual; must have advanced English skills (C1)


• Be a Honduran citizen within Honduran territory during the hiring process.


• Over 21 years old.


• Valid Passport (for at least 12 months before its expiration)


• Valid Driver's License


• Not holding an overextended stay with a tourist visa.


• Not having an illegal immigration record in the US.


• No criminal record and must present certificate proof (Constancia de Antecedentes Penales).
