*This position is part of the LCAC 100 Program

 

The Spares & Repairs Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all repairs, replacement recommendations and documentation in support of the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program on-base. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Conduct evaluations to coordinate repairs and repairable then providing replacement recommendations

·        In charge of obsolescence monitoring 


·        Provide OM&S documentation, part status and repair resource tracking

·       Supports DLR/repairable coordination and component readiness documentation


·        Perform routine work with limited to no supervision or instruction

·        Ability to take on new assignments with general instructions

·        Apply industry knowledge to various programs and projects ensuring successful completion

·        Use knowledge of industry standard policies, procedures and practical applications to complete job tasks

·        Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned

 

Education:

·        High School Degree Required

·       Associate's Degree required preferably in logistics, supply, material management or equivalent

 

Licenses & Certifications:

·       Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an interim clearance required

·       DLA/NAVSUP preferred

·       OM&S required

 

Experience:

·        Five to seven (5-7) years of experience in similar position

·        Experience and knowledge in Navy spares/repairs

 

Skills & Abilities:

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals

·        Ability to install, assemble, and configure new mechanical or refrigeration systems

·        Ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and fix issues 

·        Ability to work independently and coordinate with general maintenance staff

·        Ability to work with various levels of personnel

·        Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

 

 Other:

·        Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with additional hours, as required
