This applies to how we treat our clients in a personalized fashion, and it applies to how we interact with each other. Our employees are our greatest asset, and we continually strive to ensure each person has an experience that provides personal fulfillment and professional growth. We recognize all strengths and support our employees by offering mentorship initiatives, collaborative experiences, and leadership opportunities.

We embrace a “family-first” approach with both our clients and our employees. We believe that if our team members are cared for, in turn, our clients will be shown the highest level of attention and service.

If you share our values of integrity, reliability, respect, and opportunity, we would love the chance to talk to you!

Cumberland Trust is searching for a Special Assets Administration Officer. This position needs an experienced fiduciary professional who provides expert guidance to both internal resources (Business Development, Trust Administration, Tax, etc.) and external clients and advisors for the administration of special assets held in trust. We will use your expertise on real estate, closely held business interests, promissory notes, mineral interests, and other special assets ensuring all activities align with trust documents, regulatory requirements, and fiduciary standards. You will provide support to Trust Officers to assist our clients through this complex trust world. There may be some minimal travel required to attend client, advisor, and attorney meetings as necessary.

Requirements

Here are some of the qualifications for this position:

· Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in finance, business, tax, or law

· 3-5 years of working with trusts or special assets

· Knowledge of trusts and all the provisions surrounding trust administration

· Ability to be organized and detailed while meeting deadlines

· Excellent client relationship skills

After a learning period, this position will be a hybrid in-office / home.
