Position Details: Dual Certification Onsite Special Education Teachers – Must have Cert in EC SpEd and ES SpEd

• Title: Special Education Teachers (EC SpEd and ES SpEd, Dual certification)


• Location: Forest Lake, MN


• Duration: 02-Sep-2026 to 04-Jun-2027


• Onsite/Virtual: Onsite


• Position Type: Contract


• Working Hours: 35 to 37.5 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday, 30 min unpaid lunch.


• Student Age Group: Early childhool and Elementary school

Responsibilities: Special Education Teachers (EC SpEd and ES SpEd, Dual certification)

• Instruction and Curriculum Adaptation: Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.


• Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to track their academic, social, and emotional development.


• Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to coordinate services and ensure a cohesive educational plan for each student.


• Supportive Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the unique needs of students with special needs.

Qualifications: Dual Certification Onsite Special Education Teachers – Must have Cert in EC SpEd and ES SpEd

• Minnesota Department of Education Special Education license required, licensure in DCD or ASD or EBD preferred.


• Candidate should have both an early childhood special education license AND a license for elementary age special education.


• Holds a Bachelor's degree.
