About Chai Discovery

Chai is a research lab working on AI to unlock biology. Our models design new molecules for new medicines. We are changing how biologists develop drugs, just as language models are changing how engineers write code. Our vision is a design suite for molecules, with applications across life sciences, agriculture, materials and beyond.

Our founders have been at the forefront of this field from the beginning. We are backed by Thrive, General Catalyst, OpenAI, Dimension and other tier-one investors. We partner with global life sciences companies like Eli Lilly on deals that are transforming industry.

Can you help us?

We are looking for an exceptional individual to anchor our special projects group. Someone relentlessly curious, outcome-oriented, empathetic, self-aware, and market-aware. The job is to:

#1 Build something exceptional.

You will help us design every detail of this org, establish the foundations for the talent function at Chai, and get the perfect person into every seat. You will develop your nose for polymaths, outlier talent, and exceptional genius, wherever they may be found. You will tackle the tedious parts of the job with as much gusto as the parts that demand deep thinking -- you know how to work hard.

You can hold intelligent conversations with anyone. You will ravenously learn everything about us and our domain, what we're doing, and why we're doing it -- so that you can tell our story with passion and authenticity. You care about others and build trust by keeping it real.
