  • Work with city management to ensure business targets are met. Coordinate with city officials, jurisdictional authorities and utility representatives.

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network deployment cycle, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), network planning, engineering design, permitting, and design reviews, across Single-Family (SFU), Multi-Dwelling (MDU), and Single Business Unit (SBU) environments. This includes overseeing proposals, bids, scope definitions, vendor selection, and final approvals.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • 7 years of experience with fiber network deployments, outside and inside plant fiber infrastructure.

  • 7 years of experience with direct team and vendor management.

  • Knowledge of inside and outside plant fiber optic network infrastructure, and engineering design and construction. Knowledge of network drawings, route maps and scopes of work, interpreting fiber test results and auditing projects for compliance with scopes of work.

  • Experience in operational improvement, process/workflow development, and managing complex cross-functional projects.

It's preferred if you have:

  • 10 years of relevant industry experience, with hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.

  • Experience developing requests for proposals (RFPs), scheduling projects, cost engineering, budgeting and forecasting costs, reporting project status and costs, procurement and consulting with contractors and vendors.

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting costs, project reporting, capacity planning, quality assurance, equipment turn-up, testing and acceptance.
