Specialized Teacher – (Hearing Impairments Focus)

• Part-time, in-person assignment for the full 2026–2027 school year.
  


• Collaborate with school staff, related service providers, and families.
  


• Deliver specialized instruction and support individualized learning plans.
  


• Promote student growth through accessible, engaging, and inclusive educational practices.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Deaf Education or a related field.
  


• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is strongly preferred.
  


• Strong communication, collaboration, and instructional planning skills.
  


• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team.
  


• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement.
