Specialty Finisher

Dakota Kitchen and Bath is looking to add an Experienced Specialty Finisher to our team. This position requires experience in glazing, toning and applying top coat to cabinets.

To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function:

Apply coatings, such as paint, glaze, or lacquer, to protect or decorate workpiece surfaces, using spray guns or brushes.

Examine finished surfaces of workpieces to verify conformance to specifications and retouch any defective areas.

Clean and maintain tools and equipment, using solvents, brushes, and rags.

Read job plans and inspect workpieces to determine work procedures and materials required.

Clean surfaces of workpieces in preparation for coating, using sandpaper, spackle, tack cloths, etc.

Place coated workpieces in ovens or dryers for specified times to dry or harden finishes.
