About the Role

As the primary point of contact for specialty pharmacy patients, you’ll support medication access, adherence, and care coordination in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate refills, delivery, and medication access


• Support insurance navigation and copay assistance programs


• Monitor and improve medication adherence


• Communicate with pharmacists, providers, and clinic teams


• Resolve patient, insurance, and access challenges efficiently

This role bridges retail pharmacy, clinical care, and patient advocacy—offering meaningful impact beyond traditional pharmacy technician work.

Qualifications & Skills

✅ Required

• Registered Pharmacy Technician (state licensure required)


• High School Diploma or GED


• 2–5 years of pharmacy technician experience

⭐ Preferred

• CPhT (PTCB certification)


• 5–8 years of experience


• Background in specialty pharmacy, patient support, or medication adherence programs

Core Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)


• Solid organizational and administrative abilities


• Ability to work independently and learn new systems quickly

Specialty Experience (Preferred)

Experience supporting patients in:

• Transplant


• Hepatitis C

Compensation & Transparency

• Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 + bonus


• Final pay based on experience, location, and applicable factors
