Speech Language Pathologist at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Perdiem and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and consultative supervision of the Speech Pathology Practice Manager, this Speech Pathologist is responsible for providing quality care for patients receiving Speech Pathology services, including evaluation, treatment planning, goal setting, treatment implementation, and discharge planning to transition the patient toward maximum independence.

Required Qualifications: 



  • Master's Degree - Graduate of an accredited Program in Communicative Disorders or Comparable education (must be ASHA approved).

  • Coursework/Training - Registration for the Clinical Fellowship Year or Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.

  • California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire. 

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 

  • At least 300 clock hours in providing direct patient care.  Internships are acceptable to meet this requirement.


Preferred Qualifications: 



  • 6 months - Experience in any capacity in an acute care or rehab hospital.

  • Experience in neuro-rehabilitation, dysphagia.
