Caseload & Responsibilities

The selected SLP will provide speech-language services to students across the PreK–5th grade age range. The clinician may support students across two school buildings depending on district needs.

Responsibilities may include:

  Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK–5th grade students

  
  


• 
  

  Support students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and implement individualized speech-language goals

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on individual needs

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure students receive services in accordance with their IEPs

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist license required

  
  


• 
  

  Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required

  
  


• 
  

  Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and collaboration skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work effectively with students across the PreK–5th grade age range

  
  


• 
  

  Flexibility to potentially support students across two school locations

  
  

Compensation & Benefits

  Competitive hourly rate ranging from $45.00–$60.00 per hour
