Position Type: Full-time, Temporary (ASAP – June 6th, 2024)

Job Description:
AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support two Elementary Schools in Chicago Ridge, IL. The SLP will split time between these schools by working at one school three days a week and the other two days a week. This position focuses on K-5th grade students and is designed to assist with the district's overflow of caseloads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-5.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 30-45 students, adapting as needs arise throughout the school year.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other SLPs in the district to support students' communication needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings, develop goals, and monitor progress for students with speech and language challenges.
• Work closely with the district’s Pre-K SLP and other support staff to ensure continuity of care.

Job Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois.
• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License.
• Experience working with Elementary-aged students (K-5) is preferred, not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
