Adelphi is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-person speech-language pathology services to students within a school district in Wilmington, North Carolina. The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate students, provide individual and group therapy, develop treatment plans, participate in IEP activities, and collaborate with families and school personnel to support students’ communication needs.

Requirements
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.
• Clinical Fellows may be considered with appropriate supervision.
• Knowledge of assessments, IEPs, treatment planning, and progress monitoring.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Successful completion of required background checks and fingerprinting.
Responsibilities
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy.
• Monitor and document student progress.
• Maintain accurate service records and Medicaid-related documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Consult with teachers, families, and other school personnel.
• Recommend appropriate referrals, accommodations, and communication strategies.
• Comply with District policies, confidentiality requirements, and professional standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
