Adelphi is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists to provide on-site therapy services for a school in Sarasota County, Florida.
The ideal candidate will work closely with school administration to provide services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.

Requirements:
• a valid School Speech-Language Pathology Certification in Speech /Language Pathology by FLDOE and/or licensure in Speech / Language Pathology by the state of Florida, Department of Health Professional Regulations.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with students in a school setting.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with students with multiple disabilities.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience participating in IEP meetings.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience writing therapy goals for IEPs.


Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language, occupational, or physical therapy services to students.
• Administer screenings, evaluations, observations, and reevaluations as requested.
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, and ESE eligibility meetings and assist with developing student goals.
• Write present levels of performance, measurable annual goals, and therapy recommendations for IEPs.
• Maintain complete documentation including IEPs, evaluations, progress notes, plans of care, and Medicaid billing records.
• Coordinate therapy schedules with school staff and provide consultation, training, and recommendations as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success.
• Monitor student progress and provide weekly reports on IEP goals and therapy outcomes.
• Ensure all services comply with federal, state, and local regulations governing therapy services.
• Any other duties as assigned
