Sports Reporter

 We're looking for a motivated, self-starter to join our award-winning news team as an Sports Reporte (MultiMedia  Journalist). This is a terrific opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow in the broadcast industry without the high-stakes presser of a larger market.

 Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

-  Perform regular duties of a Sports/News reporter, from developing story ideas to shooting, editing, and going live, as well as posting on digital and social platforms with an emphasis on covering local sports

- Meet tight daily deadlines for broadcast while posting web content that is original and fresh in a timely manner

- Report live from various sporting events as needed

- Knowledge of non-linear video editing programs is a plus

- Excellent communication skills

- Flexibility in scheduling, to respond to the changing news landscape

Qualification/Requirements: 

- A degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience

- Link to a demo reel required

- Valid Driver's License required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18 per hour (Overtime when approved)

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
