Senior Analyst, Operational Excellence 

Position Overview 

We're looking for a senior analyst who can drive process improvements, strengthen governance, and turn data into actionable insights through Power BI. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency and supporting data-driven decision-making across a large, complex organization. 

You bring hands-on experience with Lean, Kaizen, and process improvement, paired with strong Power BI and DAX skills. You're comfortable building dashboards, shaping governance frameworks, and partnering across teams to drive measurable results. 

Key Responsibilities 

Drive Process Improvements 

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for optimization. 


• Facilitate Kaizen events, process improvement workshops, and cross-functional working sessions. 


• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and process mapping methodologies to solve operational challenges. 


• Develop and implement improved, standardized processes, SOPs, workflows, and best practices. 


• Establish and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness and sustainability of improvements. 

Strengthen Governance & Accountability 

• Develop and improve program governance frameworks, operating rhythms, controls, and standards. 


• Identify gaps in processes and controls and implement sustainable solutions to improve accountability, consistency, and execution. 


• Support performance reviews, KPI tracking, risk management, action tracking, and leadership reporting. 


• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process alignment and adoption of operational improvements. 

Build Dashboards & Reporting 

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions. 


• Develop and optimize data models, measures, and calculations using DAX. 


• Translate business requirements into actionable dashboards, KPIs, and performance insights. 


• Ensure data accuracy and integrity while automating recurring reporting and reducing manual processes. 


• Leverage strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Required Qualifications 


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field. 


• 3–5+ years driving process improvements, managing governance frameworks, or supporting operational programs. 


• Strong experience with Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, process mapping, and root cause analysis. 


• Experience with program governance, operational controls, and KPI/performance management. 


• Advanced Power BI experience, including dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 


• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive sustainable change. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. 


• PMP or other project/program management certification. 


• Experience in large-scale or complex program environments. 


• Strong knowledge of Power BI, Query, SQL, or additional BI and analytics tools. 


• Experience with change management and executive-level reporting.
