Participates on a team of scientists in the development, validation/verification, continuous improvements, and transfer of clinical immunology and environmental testing assays. The incumbent will work in a laboratory environment, focusing on cellular immunology assays (specifically ELISPOT/T-SPOT.TB) and environmental testing workflows, including environmental microbiology, endotoxin validation, and trace analysis of environmental matrices.
This professional work a Tues-Sat (9A-6P) schedule out of our Memphis, TN location.
Required Work Experience
Scientific understanding of cellular immunology principles (T-cell responses, cytokine release) and environmental microbiology (including waterborne pathogens and biofilm management).
Preferred Work Experience
Experience operating and qualifying microplate readers, hematology analyzers, and programming automated liquid handling platforms (e.g., Hamilton, JANUS and/or Dynamic Devices platforms).
Physical and Mental Requirements
May require flexibility with working hours based on project requirements. Will require tracking weekly hours by activity/project(s).
Knowledge & Skills
Problem-Solving: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, and to independently troubleshoot multi-variable assay anomalies or trace contamination vectors.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree: Requires knowledge and skills normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Biology, Molecular Biology , Immunology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline (Required).
