Sr. Coordinator, Product Development

ColourPop was born, raised and made with love in the City of Angels. Founded in 2014 by Seed Beauty®, and redefining luxury beauty by creating amazing products at affordable prices. 

We are looking for a Sr. Coordinator, Product Development to join our team.  This role will be based in our HQ in Oxnard. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Competitive analysis
• Assist with product marketing copy, product names & shade descriptions
• Create lab request, work with formulators to achieve benchmark and formula attributes; hit cost targets and timeline deliverables
• Develop seasonal trend collections: propose shade assortments and prototypes to Founder that are on trend, within cost, and can hit timing
• Oversee Quality and Production teams to ensure consistent quality on new and existing product lines
• Evaluate Color Matching, Batch and Fills, Scale Ups, Compounding batches and Formula MODs.

• EDUCATION: BA/BS
• 2-4+ years of experience in beauty product development
• PD experience in other beauty categories including color cosmetics is preferred
• Experience working directly and closely with R&D Strong written & verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
• Must be detail oriented, organized and able to relay concise
• feedback within organization
• Must be motivated to work well within a flexible, ever-changing entrepreneurial environment
• Team player, reliable partner, and collaborative thinker is a must Strong project management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Must be able to commute to Oxnard, CA HQ 
• Ability to travel internationally 2-4x/year
