Sr. Design/Build Electrical Construction Estimator

Stockton, Ca. in San Joaquin County: $100K-$125K (+ $500/month car allow)

-Attend pre-bid meetings, track contracts, negotiations, and obtain quotes from electrical suppliers -Take-offs, proposals, cost estimates/hard bids, manage bid process, budgets, and GC/sub/vendor relations

-Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints/bid docs

-Projects include commercial, industrial, and institutional -Benefits: $500/month car allowance, medical, vision, dental, 401K, life, & day care

Requirements:

-7+ years of experience in the electrical industry

-Design-build experience is highly desirable

-Superior skills in computer estimating/spreadsheet programs and a proven background with RFIs, cost estimates, hard bids, negotiating, material take-offs, and reading blue prints

-Must have the ability to layout branch circuiting

-Read/understand contract docs and drawings/specs

-Have an understanding of general electrical design and engineering concepts

-Overall general knowledge of electrical material costs
