Senior AMAT Endura Maintenance Technician — Contract-to-hire / 6–12 mo. fixed-term
Location: Hopewell Junction, NY (on-site) · Shift: Day, Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM (initial)

A leading semiconductor manufacturer is ramping production and needs an experienced Endura technician to keep PVD tools running and level up a junior team.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on AMAT Endura PVD systems (Ti/TiN) independently

  
  


• 
  

  Diagnose complex hardware, vacuum, and process faults; drive tool recovery back to production

  
  


• 
  

  Chamber cleans, target changes, kit/shield swaps, and wafer recovery

  
  


• 
  

  Tool qualification / requalification and return-to-production

  
  


• 
  

  Mentor, train, and certify junior technicians via OJT during PM windows and live issues

  
  


• 
  

  Complete end-of-shift pass-downs and maintain documentation/SPC

  
  

Required: 

• 
  

  extensive hands-on AMAT Endura PVD experience (Ti/TiN)

  
  


• 
  

  strong vacuum systems knowledge (cryo/turbo pumps, He leak detection)

  
  


• 
  

  able to read schematics and resolve faults independently; experience mentoring techs.

  
  

Preferred: AMAT certification(s); multi-platform AMAT experience; high-volume manufacturing fab background.

Environment: cleanroom gowning, standing/lifting, ESD protocols.
