Pinterest is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Delivery Serving Infrastructure organization. This role will oversee serving framework foundations, developer experience, and core vertical infrastructure, ensuring highly reliable, efficient operations and facilitating high-leverage solutions for product and developer teams.

What you’ll do: 

• Lead and grow the Delivery Serving Infrastructure organization across framework foundations, developer experience, and core vertical teams.


• Oversee infrastructure modernization initiatives) and continuous framework evolution and consolidation.


• Drive system reliability, performance optimization, and efficiency through continuous profiling and fleet instance type upgrades.


• Lead the Developer Experience (DevX) pillar to build agentic foundations, system debugging capabilities, and automated incident management workflows.


• Partner with product leadership to build high-leverage vertical infrastructure solutions, business intelligence agents, and product serving platforms.


• Guide the design, rollout, and adoption of critical platform changes, including shared APIs, serving abstractions, release controls, observability, and debugging capabilities.


• Establish a high bar for technical quality and operational excellence through architecture reviews, incident learnings, and scalable engineering standards.


• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders, growing technical judgment and influence across the Delivery Infrastructure organization.


• Use AI to accelerate analysis, design exploration, debugging, and documentation, while applying engineering judgment and verification to ensure correctness, reliability, and quality.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience managing software engineering teams and leading infrastructure engineering organizations.


• Deep knowledge of large-scale serving frameworks, low-latency execution, reliability engineering, and infrastructure efficiency.


• Proven ability to lead developer experience initiatives, agentic infrastructure tools, and incident investigation workflows.


• Demonstrated ability to move engineering orgs from reactive maintenance to proactive resilience. Experience implementing sophisticated testing frameworks, automated regression suites, and observability practices that significantly improve MTTR and reduce developer on-call burden."


• Strong systems and operational judgment, with a track record of making sound tradeoffs across reliability, latency, scalability, product quality, engineering velocity, and infrastructure efficiency.


• Experience with recommendation, search, ads delivery, retrieval, ranking, experimentation, or other high-scale content delivery systems.


• Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve the speed and quality of day-to-day engineering work, including technical analysis, prototyping, design exploration, debugging, documentation, or synthesis of complex information.


• Strong record of critically evaluating AI-assisted work through testing, source-checking, data validation, and peer review; protects sensitive data, avoids over-reliance on AI, and remains accountable for final decisions and deliverables.


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices: Palo Alto(preferred) or San Francisco
