Job Description - Sr Manager, Product Sales

Determines methods and procedures for new or special assignments, with initiatives often resulting in global process improvements.\n\nJob Description:\n\nEssential Responsibilities: \n\n * Lead complex projects of diverse scope requiring an understanding of current business trends.\n * Participate in complex problem resolution and determine methods for new assignments.\n * Implement initiatives that result in global process improvements.\n * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product sales strategies.\n * Provide expertise in product knowledge and market insights to enhance sales efforts.\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor\u2019s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\n\n\nAdditional Responsibilities \u0026 Preferred Qualifications:\n\nThe BNPL Product Sales Specialist is an important part of the PYPL sales org, whose overall goal is to grow and strengthen PayPal merchant partnerships, drive increased revenue for PayPal, and support overall adoption of PayPal\u2019s revenue and payments solutions across Americas. \n \nThe specific focus of BNPL Sales Specialist is the value-driven sale of our suite of BNP, Pay Later and PayPal Credit solutions, with emphasis on solution selling. This role will function as a hunter focused on merchants who do not have PayPal on their e-comm checkout today. \n \nThe Product Sales Specialist Lead will be expected to have a deep understanding of their specific portfolio of named merchant verticals, existing accounts and prospects to drive desired outcomes for PayPal. The Product Sales Specialist will also own engagement with the Product, supporting prioritization of new feature functionality, partnering on strategy formation and being a deep through partner on way to win.\n\n * Preferred Qualifications\n\n\u00b7 5+ years of experience product solutioning or selling to senior executives at Fortune 1000 companies.\n\n\u00b7 Deep experience working with customer C-level executives and decision makers in the following functional areas: Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance.\n\n\u00b7 Ideal candidate comes with contacts across C-level BNPL merchant targets\n\n\u00b7 Deep expertise in consumer value mapping and their application to customer needs within BNPL\n\n\u00b7 Deep expertise in funnel conversion design and optimization (ideally within Fintech, Direct to Consumer, Social, or scaled B2B2C digital platform)\n\n\u00b7 Skilled storyteller with proven experience communicating and selling from a values-based platform\n\n\u00b7 Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on translating insights, product information and data into client value.\n\n\u00b7 Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve win-win outcomes\n\n\u00b7 Proven consultative sales abilities and the ability to work well in a matrixed environment, collaborate across multiple departments and influence all levels within an organization.\n\n\u00b7 Strong analytical skills with ability to develop value-driven narratives and ROI-based proposals.\n\n\u00b7 Strong industry knowledge of payments including eCommerce and Omni acceptance solutions\n\n\u00b7 A consistent track record of exceeding quota targets.\n\n\u00b7 Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus.\n\n\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree required; MBA preferred.\n\n\n\n\nSubsidiary:\n\nPayPal\n\nTravel Percent:\n\n0\n\n-\n\nThe pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring.
