Job Description - Sr. Mgr, Field Service

## The group you\u2019ll be a part of\n\n \n\nThe Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.\n\n \n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nDirects the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance and engineering change upgrades to be performed at client sites. Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained. Schedules personnel responding to critical situations. Maintains communication with design management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the design department\u2019s attention. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\nLeadership \u0026 Strategy\n\n * Serve as senior authority for the site, representing Lam with customers, and internal leadership.\n * Develop and execute site strategy aligned with AT goals\n * Drive a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.\n\n\n\nOperations\n\n * Own site-level performance metrics including safety, cost, and quality.\n * Ensure stable, scalable Service operations\n * Lead ramp-ups of new tools\n\n\n\nFinancial \u0026 Business Management\n\n * Own the site operating budget, capital planning, and cost controls.\n * Drive productivity improvements while meeting financial targets.\n * Support forecasting \n\n\n\nWorkforce \u0026 Culture\n\n * Build, develop, and retain high-performing Service teams\n * Ensure effective succession planning and talent development across the site.\n * Foster a strong safety mindset, inclusive culture, and employee engagement.\n\n\n\nQuality, Safety \u0026 Compliance\n\n * Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and quality standards.\n * Champion EHS excellence and zero-incident culture.\n * Partner with quality teams to ensure robust systems and customer satisfaction.\n\n\n\nCustomer \u0026 Stakeholder Engagement\n\n * Act as primary executive interface for key customers and corporate stakeholders.\n * Support audits, customer visits, and executive reviews.\n * Align site priorities with customer commitments and business needs.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent with 6-8 years of management experience.
