Sr. Middle Office Developer

Our client is seeking a Senior Middle Office Developer to lead the design, development, and support of innovative software solutions within a capital markets environment. You will take ownership of production systems, collaborate across global teams, and drive technical excellence bridging front office trading platforms and middle office operations.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Lead architecture, development, testing, and deployment of innovative software solutions supporting trading and middle office operations
• Provide Level 3 production support including diagnosis, investigation, resolution, and cross-team coordination with business, infrastructure, and vendors
• Implement, configure, and deploy code changes following established processes and best practices
• Pro-actively collaborate within a global development team to solve complex technical and business challenges
• Apply deep expertise in capital markets products including equities, swaps, and corporate actions to design robust solutions
• Mentor junior developers and drive adoption of SOLID principles and best coding practices
• Analyze and optimize legacy platform systems to improve performance and maintainability
• Stay current with market infrastructure standards including FIX protocol and evolving trading technologies

Requirements

• 8–10 years of professional software development experience with proven expertise in C#, .NET, and SQL Server
• Strong proficiency in multi-threading, asynchronous programming, and SOLID design principles
• Demonstrated experience supporting or developing front office trading platforms and middle office systems
• Solid understanding of capital markets products and workflows (equities, swaps, corporate actions, FIX protocol)
• Experience with legacy platform modernization and Level 3 production support
• Knowledge of C++ is beneficial
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally
• Financial services industry experience preferred
